The MSI X-Slim X320 and X340 ultra slim netbooks are just about to go on sale, so we’ve got up close and personal with the range to see if they’re the MacBook Air beaters we’ve been hoping for. Read on for the full hands-on gallery!
We first saw the MSI X-Slim range back at CES, but since then several new MSI X-Slim models have been added, while HP and Asus have both launched their own slimline laptops. Now though, the first two MSI X-Slim laptops, the MSI X-Slim X320 and MSI X-Slim X340, are here in the UK, and we’ve just had a first play!
We got to grips with a white MSI X-Slim X340, sporting 2GB of RAM, Vista, a HDMI port and Intel CULV 1.4GHz processor, and the similarly shaped but stripped down MSI X-Slim X320, with no HDMI, a 250GB HDD and a 1.6GHz Atom processor, which will burn through battery juice a bit quicker.
The MSI X-Slim X320 and X340 are shipping now, so check out if they’re worth your dough in our hands-on gallery right here.
