Sharp AQUOS D 10 series stream online video

The Sharp AQUOS D 10 series is the company’s latest high end LCD range with a useful little USP: they all support online video streaming, just like Panasonic’s Viera Cast tellies!

Like Sharp’s recent A series, the Sharp AQUOS D 10 series are big screen 1080p LCD panels, coming in 32, 40 and 52 inch flavours, with superb contrast (15,000:1) and a rapid refresh rate (120Hz). Where the Sharp AQUOS D 10 series differs though is in their ability to hook up to the net to stream online video.

How to tell you’re an HD snob

The Sharp AQUOS D 10 series will currently only sling Yahoo! Japan content to your living room, but we’d love to see YouTube integration like LG is toying with, or even BBC iPlayer support. Sadly, the Sharp AQUOS D 10 series is Japan only at the moment, but they’re shipping there right now in black, white and red, so we’ve got our fingers crossed the wait won’t be long.
