The hints that a MacBook 3G is on the way are moving from subtle shoulder taps to sharp kicks to the shins. An AT&T boss let slip the US network might be trying to cook up a deal with Apple for mobile broadband in your MacBook a while back, but in the last fortnight we’ve heard rumours of a MacBook update at WWDC, seen an Apple Mac job posting for a 3G engineer and had tip offs from Snow Leopard developers that it’s coming soon.

But would you want a MacBook with 3G built in? Are you fine with cruising cafe Wi-Fi when you’re out and about, or do you find yourself caught short? Should Tim Cook and co have other priorities for a next-gen MacBook? Blu-ray, maybe? Vote in our poll and have your say!

One Response to “Poll: Would you buy a MacBook 3G?”

  1. Definitely in favour of 3g being a standard fitting, much like bluetooth.
