The Asus Eee PC 1002HAE isn’t just another netbook in the ocean of netbooks that have been released in recent months. Asus has kitted out this mini notebook with a sharp, lightweight aluminium frame – apparently to make it easier to carry. Seriously, though, how hard is it to carry around a 10-inch netbook, hmm?
Spec-wise, the Asus Eee PC 1002HAE is pretty similar to its predecessor, the Asus Eee PC 1002HA. That means it’s carrying a 1.6GHz N280 Atom processor, 1GB of memory and 160GB of storage space. There is also Wi-Fi and a 1.3-megapixel webcam, to complement the four-hour battery life.
There’s no word on a UK release just yet, so you’ll have to head to Japan if you want one now. It’ll cost around £335… plus the price of a plane ticket, of course.
