Blimey, The Sims 3 for iPhone is looking tasty indeed. Despite already being the world’s most successful games franchise, EA Mobile hasn’t held back on the visuals for its iPhone outing; there are no 2D isometric viewpoints here, just full-blown 3D goodness.
As for the game itself, EA promises that it’ll feature a cut down, but still expansive amount of gameplay, including four mini-games including fishing, gardening, cooking, and house repairs. You’ll get 10+ hours of play time for your dosh. And that’s before you get bored and lock the little blighters in a flaming toilet cubicle.
The Sims 3 will also tap into the devices’ touchscreen and accelerometer controls. EA promises an ever-changing open-world environment and smarter Sims with “deeper personalities, wishes and goals”.
The Sims 3 is coming to the iTunes App store for iPhone and iPod Touch this June, to coincide with the launch of the long-awaited PC version.
