The Eee PC 1008HA Seashell, Asus’s slimline netbook answer to the MacBook Air, has just got the nod for retail in the UK. Read on to find out when you’ll be able to pick one up on British shores.
We already knew we’d be seeing an RRP of £379 for the super skinny Eee PC 1008HA Seashell, but Asus UK just let slip when you’ll be able to get your hands all over one. The Eee PC 1008HA Seashell begins shipping over here from May 15.
If you’re in need of a quick refresh before splashing out, the Eee PC 1008HA Seashell is your average 10-inch Eee PC netbook, but with a slimline form that’ll squeeze inside any manbag. Specs-wise we’re talking the standard Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM and 160GB HDD, but the Eee PC 1008HA Seashell fits it all inside a case that’s just an inch thick at the widest point, with the revamped styling of the Eee PC 1000HE and a six-hour battery life.
