Swine Flu is steadily trotting across the globe, but what is the average iPhone user to do to stop its virulent progress? Err, download an App, of course. Fortunately iTunes App maker IntuApps is on the case and has already submitted its Swine Flu Tracker for Apple approval. Read on to find out how it’ll protect you from the piggy pandemic.

Swine Flu Tracker promises to keep you up to date with the latest WHO threat level and it’ll track cases of Swine Flu, pinpointing the areas to avoid like the plague on a handy Google Map. You’ll also get breaking Swine Flu news and a selection of helpful facts that may assist in stemming some of the apocalyptic predictions arising from the Twitter community.

It’s currently unclear whether Swine Flu Tracker can call you a hambulance if you break out in rashers, provides any good oinkment recipes or if the helpline gives you anything but crackling. Okay, we’ll stop that now.

Swine Flu Tracker is currently making its way through the murky App Store approval process, and should be available for download in the next few days if all goes according to plan.
