The Polaroid PoGo instant digital camera, which mashes up compact camera tech with Polaroid’s inkless Zink printing skills, will set sail from warehouses next week. Read on to find out where to get dibs on yours!
Polaroid’s cartridge free PoGo printer was a neat idea when launched last year, but was still yet another gadget you had to carry around in order to print out your magic moments on the move. Luckily for us then Polaroid when back to the drawing board and shoved it inside a camera instead.
On its own, the Polaroid PoGo instant digital camera is a reasonable enough effort: squished inside is a 5MP sensor, 3-inch LCD screen, video shooting and SD card slot. Crucially though, the Polaroid PoGo camera also packs the inkless PoGo printing tech to print 2×3 inch sticky label snaps wherever you are.
Take a shot and forty seconds later, it’ll slide out the side of the Polaroid PoGo nice and dry, ready to be slapped on an unsuspecting friend’s forehead. Each battery charge is good for 15 prints, and since you can crop photos on the LCD screen, remove red eye and even add Polaroid style borders, you can make every one count. The Polaroid PoGo camera ships from Firebox from 11 May and is available to pre-order now, so act fast!
