If you’re a Virgin Media HD subscriber, rejoice! If not, you might want to become one after this tidbit: the BBC iPlayer has hit Virgin’s cable service in full HD. Any customers with a V+ box can now catch up with content from the BBC HD channel, including the likes of Later… with Jools Holland, Robin Hood and Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. The service is free of charge too.
Of course, if you’re not a Virgin Media HD subscriber you can still gorge yourself on iPlayer content in HD, but you’ll need to do it through a computer, rather than the comfort of your own couch.

Lastly, are you Twittering? Tweeting? Twitulating? New features from everyone’s favourite microblogging service might convince you to. It’s handy for keeping an eye on breaking news or the latest events. Take a peek at the Twitter homepage.
