Panasonic plans to launch an OLED TV within the next 18 months to two years, according to reports. Smarthouse.au claims that senior Panasonic executives yesterday told an assembly of Australian journalists that the firm is currently researching HD OLED TV tech able to offer a larger screen and longer lifespan than the XEL-1 TVs currently being sold by Sony.
