It seems that satnav maker Mio has a couple of new GPS-toters up its sleeves. Engadget has obtained some photos of and info about the previously unseen Mio S401 and Mio S501 devices, both due to launch in May 2009.
Both models are part of the “Moov” range, and from the prices ($129/£85 for the Mio S401, $169/£115 for the Mio S501) would appear to be entry-level satnavs.
Still, if Engadget’s info is correct then both seem pretty well equipped. The Mio S401 has a 4.3-inch screen and four million Points of Interest, while the Mio S501 has a 4.7-inch screen and 12 million POIs. Both models also appear to have fuel price searching and Google Send to GPS, which suggests they’ll have some sort of integration with MSN Direct or a similar service – at least in the US (MSN Direct hasn’t crossed over the Atlantic yet).
