With a few notable exceptions, DAB radios are generally pretty samey – but the new Monitor Audio Airstream 10 is a law unto itself. It’s a glorious retro-tinged Tetris shape of a desktop radio, in fact.

Set to go on sale this summer, the Monitor Audio Airstream 10 features not one but three kinds of radio: DAB, FM and Internet, giving users a triple whammy of digital and analogue radio.

We’re not too clear on specs or pricing at the moment, but it seems to use Ethernet (there’s no sign of a Wi-Fi antenna) for its web radio. We wouldn’t be surprised to see it capable of streaming music over your home network too.

Out June | £TBC | Monitor Audio
