Cable-haters and wire-damners rejoice! Sony has launched not one but two new sets of wireless Bluetooth headphones, both boasting noise cancelling technology to reduce background babble and improve phone call quality.

The DR-BT100CX are in-ear Bluetooth headphones designed to partner with MP3 players and mobile phones alike. They charge via USB (offering up to eight hours of wireless playback per charge), and come with three different earbud sizes.

Music obsessives might well prefer the DR-BT101 headphones, which are large over-the-ear cans with 30mm neodymium drivers for more powerful performance. These offer up to 12 hours of playback per battery charge.

Both sets of headphones are compatible with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP Bluetooth profiles. Sony says that both are now available from its online store, SonyStyle, but at the time of writing neither appear to be there – we’ll give you an update with the prices when they are.
