Sony PS3 fans in the US are to get an “electrifying” announcement regarding upcoming games inFamous and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves later today.
But the cat may be out of the bag already – a photo of dummy inFamous boxes, taken by an American Best Buy employee, shows a sticker saying that buyers of inFamous will get a “multiplayer beta voucher” for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
If the photo of the sticker, sent to Kotaku, is to be believed it means two “electrifying” things. Firstly, the hotly-anticipated action-adventure game Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (the original was a mix of Tomb Raider exploration and Gears Of War cover-and-combat) is to have a multiplayer component.
Secondly, American Sony PS3 owners have even more reason to grab a copy of electro-superpower actioner inFamous.
The multiplayer code is valid until 28 June, according to the photo. And inFamous releases in the UK at the end of May. No word yet, of course, on whether UK Sony PS3 owners will get any access to a similar deal. We wait in hope…
