The Beatles: Rock Band videogame, due to release worldwide on 9 September, is to feature three-part vocal harmonies with gamers using up to three different microphones, if a leaked retail listing is to be believed.
According to documents sent to games fansite Kotaku, a retail listing for The Beatles: Rock Band game, says the game is to feature: “the ability to play drums, lead guitar, bass guitar or sing three part harmony with up to three microphones. The Beatles: Rock Band will focus on authentically recreating the feeling of performing The Beatles music on stage and in the studio.”
The use of the word “or” in the listing might imply that if you go for three-part harmonies, you can’t also then play the instruments. Either way, the listing is not official yet – so count this as a rumour for now.
