The Toshiba Mini NB200 may claim to be a “mini-notebook”, but it’s a 10.1inch netbook through and through: it’s even got a 9 hour battery life to prove it!
The Toshiba Mini NB200 range (known as the UX in Japan) packs the standard 160GB HDD, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but comes in two different spec sets. You can choose between a Atom 1.6 or 1.66Ghz processor for your Toshiba Mini NB200, and even upgrade the three cell battery to a six cell offering up to nine hours of life.
That puts the Toshiba Mini NB200 on a par with Asus and Samsung‘s latest powersaving efforts, but anyone with butter fingers might be tempted by the Toshiba Mini NB200′s accelerometer which protects the hard drive in case of a trip to the pavement.
The Toshiba Mini NB200 comes in brown, black, white or pink with prices starting from £319 this May, so we’ll find out then if it really can stand out from the netbook crowd.
