An update to Apple’s MacBook range update could be on the cards for its WWDC event in June, says an inside source. Want to know what improvements are being touted for the MacBook and MacBook Pro? Read on for all the info coming through the grapevine.
9to5Mac’s inside Apple source says a “minor update” for the MacBook and MacBook Pro is due in June. That’s quite a surprise given the 17 inch MacBook Pro only got revamped in January, but we’ll happily take it given the tech tweaks that might be on the cards according to the tipster.
The source says 3G connectivity, a processor boost or a non-removable battery for the MacBook are all being talked about behind closed doors, but firm details are otherwise hazy.
WWDC would be a prime platform to show off new tweaks to the MacBook, but we’re already expecting a new iPhone, Snow Leopard and an Apple tablet. It’s going to be a busy week.
