The LG LF7700 Freesat TV

We’ve just got up-close with the LG LF7700 Freesat TV. It’s the second set of TVs to feature built-in Freesat tuners after the Panasonic PZ81 range. Take a look at our pictures and get a good gawp yourself!

The LG LF7700 Freesat TV is impressive. As well as the HD-capable satellite tuner inside there’s LG’s “Intelligent Sensor” technology to adjust the screen’s settings to match the ambient lighting. LG says it’ll mean the TV uses 69.5% less power than a standard TV.

There’s also 100Hz technology inside, working to smooth out judder from fast-moving images. The model we saw looked great, helped along by the new design of the LF7700 itself.

The front panel is completely buttonless, while touch-sensitive controls sit along the side. A new “Invisible Speaker” designed by Mark Levinson means the usual, ugly speaker grilles are gone, replaced by a smoked class bezel along the base.

Around the back of the LG LF7700 Freesat TV there are four HDMI sockets, so it’ll please HD fans with multiple set-top boxes or games consoles too.

The LG LF7700 is also cheaper than rival TVs with Freesat built-in. Take a peep at our pictures for a close-up look.
