We love shoving computers into home appliances (Plugs, doors, coffee filters) but the hole the SmartFaucet fills never crossed our mind. Designed by iHouse, the SmartFaucet is a tap with facial recognition software so it’ll run water at the temperature you like. The touchscreen will even let you check your emails while you scrub.
Slot the SmartFaucet in to your bathroom with the LED shower door and you’ve got a nightclub bash going on in your bathroom. The only problem we envision? That unfortunate mix of water and electricity. The SmartFaucet is only a prototype for the moment, but check out the SmartFaucet in action in the video below, with the sound turned down.
