Sony’s PS3 showing at E3, the world’s largest videogame trade show, taking place in Los Angeles in early June, will include the next installments in the MotorStorm, Jak & Daxter and Uncharted series. As well as the massively-anticipated, grown-up adventure game Heavy Rain (by the makers of Fahrenheit) and, presumably a load more.

The list of games was revealed as Sony announced a pre-E3 press event for US media.

The pre-E3 list, posted on Sony’s official PS3 blog was: Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier, SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 (for Sony PSP), Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

It’s no great leap to add God Of War III and MAG to the list of games that Sony will be showing at E3. But as to what else they’ve got up their sleeves… your guess is as good as ours.

Amd here we are well into 2009, and still nothing to shout home about on the Xbox360, aside from some tired GTA IV DLC. (most of us got tired of that game a couple of months after it launched).

Can anyone smell something. It smells like Microsoft just shat their pants..

Will be good to see some more details about MAG and Heavy Rain.
Heavy Rain looked really interesting but I just hope its not a sequence of interactive cutscenes.

Heavy Rain “interactive cutscenes”? I doubt it. Fahrenheit was one of the best games on the last generation of consoles – and this looks set to raise the bar quite significantly from there.

@Simon Munk. I hope your right It looked really really good.

  • Freeman

Nothing wrong with cutscenes. MGS4 had lots of them, but it was still a platform defining game.

  • Alex

@Freeman. Personally I would have to disagree.. I’m the guy pushing the skip button as soon as I see one :) I prefer story through game play

You won’t like FFXIII then. I’m happy with cutscenes or in game. Metal Gear Solid 4 is an awesome experience if you’re into that sort of thing.
