A new Sony OLED TV will be unveiled at IFA 2009 in September, according to insiders. Want to know more about a bigger brother for the Sony XEL-1? Read on for the details.
We love the gorgeous pictures the XEL-1 Sony OLED TV churns out, but at 11 inches, they’re a bit puny, not to mention prohibitively expensive. Now though we hear a new Sony OLED TV will be revealed at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) kicking off on 4 September.
OLED-Info has it from industry sources that the next Sony OLED TV will be shown off then. There are no more details, but we’ve seen a 21 inch prototype Sony OLED TV on show recently, and been promised a 27 inch Sony OLED TV, which sounds much more suited to the living room, so don’t be surprised if it turns out to be one of those two sizes.
Will the new Sony OLED TV be the Sony XEL-2? Will it have a pricetag that won’t cause your wallet to wilt? We don’t know yet but expect more details on it soon. In the meantime, we’ll continue to lust after our favourite TV of the moment, the gorgeous Panasonic Z1.
