The Willcom NS is an MID with a difference: it’s got hole punches down the side so you can slot it in a ringbinder. If you’re struggling to change to a paperless office, this might help make the jump!
We’re all about convergence, but it’s rarely something we see between digital devices and old school office equipment. Made by Toshiba, the Willcom NS is a PDA like no other: yes, it runs Windows CE, sports a 4.1 inch WVGA touchscreen (Is it the same one as in the TG01, we wonder?), lets you jump online via Wi-Fi and offers up to 16GB of storage via a microSD slot. But the Willcom NS also fits in your diary, thanks to “NS” (Network stationary) holes down the side.
Even if you don’t own a Filofax, the Willcom NS is still a decent little gizmo, offering up to 6 hours of battery life. The only question is, since it does everything your diary offers and more, what’s the point of putting the Wilcom NS in it? We’re not quite sure, but if you’re more decisive than us you can pre-order one in Japan from the 24th.
