These Kenwood SP0001 speakers are about to go on sale in Japan, with dazzling blue and white LEDs built in, so if you care about how your hi-fi looks as well as sounds, you really ought to take a peek.
The Kenwood SP0001 speakers on their own don’t sound too interesting: two soundboxes belching out underwhelming 10W sonics. But the Kenwood SP0001 has a killer USP: they come in these beautiful glass stands with LED lights you can stick on the bottom.
We reckon the Kenwood SP0001 speakers will site nicely in any new age apartment, even if they do resemble the Panasonic 3D washing machine ever so slightly. There’s no shipping date just yet, but the Kenwood SP0001 will ship for 100,00 yen (£680) for the pair, and another 42,000 yen (£286) for the blue and white lighting. Plus the enormous cross continent import costs you’ll face, of course.
