The Viewty II is due in June, and now we know what it looks like, and what it’ll be called. Ladies and gents, meet the Viewty Smart. Full specs and more pictures follow below.

Let slip by LG’s German blog this is the first official outing for the Viewty Smart, previously known as the Viewty II. Inside there’s an 8 megapixel camera and LG’s newest S-Class touchscreen interface, complete with a re-worked camera interface.

Similar to the LG Arena, the Viewty Smart will pack a three inch screen an boasts Wi-Fi, HSDPA for fast 3G connections and GPS to automatically geotag photos.

The Viewty Smart is slim too, at just 12.4 mm thick and weighs a respectable 90g. As well as shooting 8 megapixel still snaps, it’ll record video at 720×480 resolution.

We’re still waiting to see how much storage is on board, and while the images show the Viewty Smart will play back DivX movies and packs Dolby Mobile technology, LG’s keeping quiet on the other extras inside.

However, one of the images leaked today does show the Viewty Smart with an Orange logo emblazoned on the back. That underscores previous quisperings that the new Viewty II, or Viewty Smart as it’s now known, will be landing on the network in June.
