Wii MotionPlus, the accuracy-enhancing add on for the Nintendo Wii remote, will go on sale on 12 June, with Wii Sports Resort, one of the first games to support it, following the next month.
We had Wii MotionPlus, the accessory that improves the WiiMote’s accuracy, penciled in for a July release, but Nintendo just gave us official word that Wii MotionPlus will hit shelves on 12 June.
What’s more, Wii Sports Resort, the sequel to the absurdly popular Wii Sports, will go on sale on 24 July, bundled with a Wii MotionPlus add on.
Nintendo hasn’t served us the price for Wii MotionPlus or Wii Sports Resort just yet, but several more games supporting Wii MotionPlus will soon arrive, including EA’s Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, as well as Virtua Tennis 2009, and even Wii Fit Plus.
In the meantime though, check out our first look at Wii Sports Resort.
