It wasn’t only the LG Viewty II that was peeped in Orange’s Q2 release schedule. There is the Samsung Preston and the LG Calisto, two phones about which we’ve heard nothing before now.
The Samsung Preston (we’re hoping for followups called the Stockport and Macclesfield) will be released in May and come in black, pink and white finishes. A new fashion phone perhaps? Although, if we were thinking up a name for a cutting edge style mobile, Preston probably wouldn’t be on the shortlist.
Moving on, there’s the LG Calisto, otherwise known as the LG GW520, which will launch in June. LG mobile phone product numbers usually start with a K rather than a G, which suggests the LG Calisto might be taking things in a new direction. Then again the LG Viewty II will be called the GC900, so perhaps the company is just changing its naming system.
