Another special edition of the Leica M8 rangefinder has slipped out, and its glorious white finish is set to moisten the trousers of serious shutterbugs all over the globe.

The 10.3-megapixel Leica M8 was given a major update by the German lens-masters back in September 2008, adding a raft of improvements to the compact pro-quality body, then December 2008 saw the launch of the first special edition Leica M8, with a “green safari” finish.

Now the firm is poised to unleash this gorgeous all-white Leica M8, which will be manufactured (by hand, no less) in very limited numbers and most likely cost more than the £4,000 or so you’d pay for a “regular” Leica M8. We’ll give you an update when the price is finally set.

Incidentally, anyone looking to buy a Leica M8 should check out the new offer on Leica’s website, which gives you £500 cash back when you buy the camera from an authorised UK dealer.
