Glacier Ridgeline W200, haven’t we seen you somewhere before? Yep, this wrist-mounted computer comes off like a slightly more modernised version of Fallout 3′s Pip-Boy 3000 – but with a crucial difference in that it’s real!

The Ridgeline W200 clamps over your arm and lets you compute to your heart’s desire, whether your OS of choice is Windows CE or Linux. It sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen and keypad to handle control duties, and you can add modules for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS to expand its functionality.

At about 290g the Ridgeline W200 is not exactly feather-light, but the reinforced magnesium alloy case should be tough enough to withstand almost anything a typical day can throw at it (but will it survive a Supermutant’s nailboard, hm?).

We’ll keep an eye out for UK launch info and pricing.

Who ever wrote this should have done a little more research on what there referencing. Fallout 3 had the pipboy 3000, the 2000 was from the good ones: 1 and 2.

Good spot, we’ve amended now, thanks for the tip! Dare I say it though, I do prefer Fallout 3 to the originals – I never really had much patience for isometric RPGs (Except maybe Neverwinter Nights 2 if that counts).
