Apple’s Time Capsule was only updated last month, but now it looks like a revamped model with an immense 2TB of storage could be on the way.
Time Capsule, Apple’s Wi-Fi router and network-attached storage drive, was refreshed along with the desktop Mac range early last month, but an image has popped up on Apple vendor ClubMac’s Time Capsule page, displaying a 2TB Time Capsule. Currently, Apple only sells a 500GB and 1TB Time Capsule models. Hmm.
A 2TB Time Capsule certainly makes sense, as any extra space to backup your machine is welcome, but so soon after the latest refresh? There’s no confirmation from Apple yet, but it’s a strange place for a Photoshop mock up of a new Apple product to appear. We’ll keep you posted on details of a new Time Capsule.
