Wii Fit Plus will land in Europe on 19 November, if a sneak picture of an Amsterdam game shop’s release schedule is to be believed. The shop’s release schedule also dates the arrival of Nintendo’s add-on that improves accuracy for the WiiMote, MotionPlus, as arriving on 10 July.
Maxemillian_X tipped GoNintendo with the release dates. The improved (and controversial) Nintendo Wii MotionPlus system, and accompanying sequel to Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, were already widely believed to be coming in July to Europe. But Wii Fit Plus is an entirely new, unannounced game. One obvious guess would be that it is a sequel to Wii Fit, but now using not just the Balance Board, but also the MotionPlus system. Another answer could be that Wii Fit Plus is just a MotionPlus add-on and slight rework of the original Wii Fit.
Either way, it looks like Wii Fit Plus is set to be a major title for Nintendo going into the Christmas holidays period.
