Samsung has launched a new range of 46-inch HD displays with bezels so thin they make Mackenzie Crook look like Rik Waller. The 460UT, 460UTn and 460UTn-UD all feature frames just 2.4mm thick on the right and top of the screen, and 4.3mm on the left and bottom.

While the displays are designed primarily for commercial use (shop displays, office foyers etc.), there’s no reason they couldn’t be used at home for a PC display or even television. They’ve got 1,366 x 768 resolutions, contrast ratios of 3,000:1 and reasonably speedy 8ms response times.

The 460UTn includes a built-in computer with Windows XP, while the 460UTn-UD is designed to be teamed up in huge numbers – you can link up as many as 250 of them in video-wall style, running them from just one PC.

Samsung hasn’t revealed UK pricing or release dates just yet.
