Nokia E75 starts shipping

Nokia launched its super-skinny E75 slider smartphone what seems like an age ago (it was only mid-February, mind), but it’s been teasingly unavailable in the shops. Until now.

We’d originally heard the phone, which sports a slide-out QWERTY keyboard alongside HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and a 3.2-megapixel camera, would hit retail outlets in March, but it never materials. Fear not, Nokia fans, because we’ve just had word from the mighty Finns that confirms the E75 is now shipping.

The Nokia E75 is the first handset to sport Nokia’s new email user interface, which reportedly offers “full desktop email functionality” and is compatible with popular email services like Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail.
