In the future you could be charging up your electric shaver merely by turning on the tap to brush your teeth. It’ll all be thanks to a device much like this Mini Hydro Turbine concept.
Okay, so it’s just a concept at the moment, so don’t go looking for one at Currys, but this little device uses the movement of tap water to drive a micro generator and create some electricity that, while not exactly free, is certainly cut price. Not to mention eco friendly (as long as you don’t leave the tap on all day to power your 50-inch plasma telly, of course).
