Corr. This shot of a Lenovo MRT800 PMP is more than a little bit exciting: it looks like an iPod touch crossed with a Cowon touchscreen doowacky. Let’s just hope it turns out to be real, unlike the Lenovo Pocket Yoga.
Lenovo has been dabbling in new waters of late: first with the OPhone and now with the Lenovo MRT800 PMP. It’s a 4.3 inch touchscreen portable media player with a 480×262 rezzie screen, with extensive file support (AVI, MP4, FLV, high quality FLAC audio and more) and up to 4GB of storage.
No, there are no widgets on the Lenovo MRT800 PMP like the iriver P35, and no internet connectivity like Archos‘ latest efforts, but we’ll take a PMP that looks this stylish any day, even with plain Jane features.
Alas, there’s no word yet on a release date for the Lenovo MRT800 PMP, or even if the Lenovo MRT800 PMP isn’t just another concept Lenovo is cruelly going to wave in our faces before snatching away again. As soon as any more details on the Lenovo MRT800 PMP break cover though we’ll let you know.
