UPDATE: Asus UK confirmed that the Eee PC T91 will be arriving sometime after Easter. We’ll let you know when an official date is penciled in.
The Asus Eee PC T91 unveiled back at CES in January has still yet to make it to shelves, despite the number of Eee PCs that have come and gone in between. That could be about to change though: it’s just been approved by the FCC stateside.
If you’re in need of a quick refresh, the Asus Eee PC T91 was the tiny netbook cum tablet PC that wowed us at the start of the year. Asus has been keeping schtum on a launch date for it ever since, but it might be sooner than we thought: the Asus Eee PC T91 has just been approved by the FCC in America. In other words, Uncle Sam has given the thumbs up, and anyone across the pond will be able to bag one shortly.
We’re still waiting for word of a UK launch for the twistable, touchscreen Asus Eee PC T91, but given the short interval between US and UK shipping dates for the Eee PC 1000HE, we’ve got every digit crossed it won’t be long.
In the meantime, check out a video of the Asus Eee PC Touch range in action, as well as our stat clash, pitting the Asus Eee PC T91 versus the Sony VAIO P and MSI X-Slim.
