Yesterday we saw the Antwerp Nokia Store’s attempts to entice pedestrians by sticking a giant Nokia 5800 XpressMusic – complete with working touchscreen – in their window. Well, now the Carphone Warehouse has done likewise with the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition.
The interactive display has been rolled out in 18 stores across the UK, and reproduces the Tocco Ultra Edition by mounting a portrait-oriented 46-inch touchscreen, surrounded by a Tocco bezel, in shop windows. Passers-by can play with the phone’s functions without even setting foot in the actual store.
