Presenting the self propelled suitcase, the world’s first luggage for loafers: it detects how fast you’re pulling it and accelerates up to 3mph to ease the load on your guns and help you make that flight. No, really, this isn’t an early April Fools.
This self propelled suitcase will start trundling when you pull it at an angle between 15 and 35 degrees, and while it holds up to 31kgs, the self propelled suitcase will shift 85% of that weight onto the electric powered wheels, so it won’t feel too heavy.
The self propelled suitcase is good for up to 2 hours and 15 minutes of trundling, which means it’ll probably get you half way between check in and the gate at Heathrow, but every little helps, eh?
Spotted by the chaps at GadgetReview, you can pick up a self propelled suitcase from Hammacher Schlemmer for $1,300 (£910) right now, but we’ll let you know if a remote controlled self propelled suitcase trundles into view anytime soon.
