The Apple WWDC 2009 (Worldwide Developers Conference) has been confirmed. This is the big one: if Apple is going to announce Snow Leopard or a new iPhone, WWDC is where it’s going to happen, so read on to find out when it all goes down.
WWDC 2009 will take place at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco from June 8-12 this year, as predicted by a pundit a few weeks ago. Let’s hope he’s also spot on about Snow Leopard, the next version of Mac OS X, being fully unveiled on the first day of Apple WWDC.
More news on Snow Leopard at WWDC 2009 is starting to look incredibly likely (developers like to know what they’re coding for, after all), but WWDC 2009 could also be the place the next iPhone is announced. Last year’s WWDC was where the iPhone 3G dropped, and the picture of an iPhone in the announcement of WWDC 2009 is certainly promising.
Don’t expect too many more details on what Apple will be pimping out before WWDC 2009 actually kicks off, but if anything slips out we’ll be sure to let you know.
