A Sky e-mail reminder service has been launched by the broadcaster, letting you schedule alerts for shows before they’ve even been filmed! Read on to find out how to never miss a show again – even if you’re not a Sky subscriber you can get on on this.
The Sky e-mail reminder service, Never Miss, has just been launched, and it’s not just an EPG for your computer. Instead of looking just a few days ahead, the Sky e-mail reminder service monitors all listing services across the UK and reminds you via your inbox as soon as a film or TV series is penciled in to air.
There are currently more than 34,000 movie and 500 TV series in the system, and what’s got us most excited is the ability to automatically track series that haven’t been filmed yet: you can already set an alert for Lost Season 6, which won’t start until 2010.
You don’t have to be a Sky subscriber to use it, but the Sky e-mail reminder service is even better if you have Sky+ or Sky+HD: the Sky e-mail reminder service deeps links with your Sky EPG, so you can schedule recordings from your desktop.
