Sennheiser has just launched the Sennheiser Sport II line of sports earphones, and leading the charge is the durable Sennheiser CX 380 Sport II. Read on to meet the rest of the family.
You know what they say about earphones. You wait for weeks, then six come along at once. First Panasonic‘s new HJE700 cans, now the Sennheiser Sport II line of five new models.
OK, so that might be buses, but the point still stands. Top of the line is the luminescent Sennheiser CX 380 Sport II. The ear-canal cans are noise isolating, but also sweat proof and washable under running water, with silicone tips to fit all ears, and they’ll retail for 50 notes.
Next down the line is the Sennheiser PMX 80 Sport II (£35), the ideal model for runners. Like the Sony Walkman W Series we saw in January, it’s got a band shape, so it won’t fall off your bonce, although it doesn’t play music itself, unlike the Walkman W Series.
Finally, there are the Sennheiser MX 80 (£25), MX 85 and OMX 80 Sport II (Both £35) headphones, rugged numbers that’ll stay screwed in to your skull no matter what activity you’re doing. The whole Sennheiser Sport II range works at -10 degrees, so you’ll be able to find them in chiller cabinets everywhere from this month.
