The new iriver P35 PMP has just been unveiled, and it’s managed to pull our attention away from Archos‘s tablet range with a killer combo of stunning looks and a brand new widget-packed interface. Read on for all the info and a full gallery of official iriver P35 pics.
iriver may have already clocked quality design in its previous players, but the iriver P35 throws a better set of menus and a revamped home screen into the mix, topping the offerings of most other PMP makers, from Archos to Cowon.
The touchscreen iriver P35 packs a 4.3inch screen, Wi-Fi for web browsing in the high end version, 8 or 16 gigs of flash memory and a DMB TV option, plus XviD, MP4 and WMV video support.
But it’s the scope for widgets that we love the most about the iriver P35: the open API UCI widget support will mean programmers can bring you new widgets whenever they like, and you can embed them on the home screen. Calendars, sports scores, the sky’s the limit, or whatever information is available on the internet, anyway.
