The Flip Mino HD just went on sale in the UK, offering 720p video recording at a wallet-friendly price. Read on for all the details.
The Flip Mino HD has been on sale in the US for a while, but it’s just hit the UK, on sale at Firebox for a shade under £170.
For those yet to discover the Flip Mino HD, it’s a tiny camcorder with 4GB of storage and batteries built in able to record in 720HD. When it was first released, we reckoned the Flip Mino HD was pretty slick, but in the time it’s taken it to arrive in the UK we’ve seen more attractive offerings.
Top of the list is the Toshiba Camileo P10 which is cheaper at £100, and records in full HD 1080p. The only downside is that you’ll need to supply your own memory cards, but the upside is that you can add more than 4GB. For those with a bit more bunce to spend, the Camileo S10 has the same specs, but crammed inside a much slimmer shell for £130.
