Gmail undo button added

Gmail has just been given an undo button to let you take back messages whilst sending and prevent a Gfail of your very own. Ever sent something you shouldn’t have? Read on to find out how you can make that a thing of the past.

It’s a bit cheeky really. Google has taken the long loading times of the Gmail web interface and turned them into a selling point with a Gmail undo button. Hit send and while Gmail works its magic, you’ll see a Gmail undo option on the screen to take back anything you might regret saying. Unless there’s a big file attached though you’ll have to be quick as the Gmail undo button isn’t there for long!

Of course, for added security beyond a Gmail undo option, you should also switch on Gmail Goggles, which quizzes you to check your sobriety and block slurred messages. You can find the Gmail undo option in the Labs setting on Gmail right now, so be sure to flick it on and start composing those rants you’ve always meant to.
