Samsung Android phone sighted

The first Samsung Android phone has been sighted, in a snap taken by Mr Blurrycam after downing an espresso or nine. Read on to find out what we know about Samsung‘s elusive smartphone.

It’s common knowledge that a Samsung Android phone is in the works, but there’s been no sign of said Samsung Android phone at the big tradeshows so far this year. Now we’ve been offered our first glimpse of the Samsung Android phone via what might qualify as the blurriest spy shot of all time. The Samsung Android phone was snapped in a presentation at a dealer event in Amsterdam.

Looks a bit like the Palm Pre doesn’t it? GSM Helpdesk says the Samsung Android phone will pack a 528 MHz processor, a camera and HSDPA/HSUPA net connectivity, although we’ll wait for official confirmation first before getting too excited.

We’re guessing there’s no slide out keyboard, just like the HTC Magic, but there are absolutely no details about the first Samsung Android phone otherwise. We’ll be sure to throw them your way once we get them though.
