We were pretty impressed by the MSI Wind U110 ECO and its nine hour battery life when we got wind of it yesterday, and even more so by the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics card MSI said would be inside. Imagine our disappointment then when MSI came back cap in hand to tell us that it’s not getting a dedicated graphics card after all.

It turns out that MSI made one mighty typo when it claimed to have a high-def capable HD 3200 graphics card squeezed inside the MSI Wind U110 ECO netbook, as MSI has now taken it off the spec sheet entirely.

Instead, the MSI Wind U110 ECO will use a not-nearly-as-powerful Intel GMA 500 chipset, so don’t expect to be playing brand new first person shooters on the MSI Wind U110 ECO.

Otherwise, it’s a case of “as you were” with the MSI Wind U110 ECO netbook. It’s still got a stonking 9 hour battery life to be proud of, so we’ll keep you posted as soon as shipping and pricing details for the MSI Wind U110 ECO blow our way.
