In mobile news, there are hints that O2 could nab exclusivity on the Palm Pre in the UK, we unwrapped Sony Ericsson’s new W705 music mobile, the Cupcake update for Android is coming next month, and a new Samsung PMP, the YP-Q2 emerged.

Finally, in future tech, a Sony boss has hinted the PSP2 will ditch the UMD drive, and we saw a concept for an alarm clock that cooks you breakfast. If only.
