First up, we’ve got a bunch of brilliant Google bits and bobs for you: if you value your privacy, you won’t like Google’s new ad scheme, which tailors ads to your browsing tastes, but on the plus side, paid Android apps launch today, which should help innovate Android Market, and one former Google employee has let slip that Google has been putting Android on netbooks since last year!
Over in Apple land, a completely redesigned iPod shuffle launched, we bagged all the official photos of it, and news of iTunes 8.1 emerged. Not so good news for Apple though is that the iPod Touch 2G has been jailbroken, and iTunes gift cards are being pirated!
In gaming, the next GTA 4 DLC is due later this year and the Nintendo Wii passed the 50m sales mark, while in the “What on earth” category, we saw Lewis Hamilton driving an F1 car with a BlackBerry Storm, and one Twitter user tweeting someone breaking into his home – while he was still in it!
