Apple has just sent out invites for a preview of iPhone OS 3.0, the next big update for the iPhone, on March 17. Apple says it’s an “advance preview of what we’re building,” so whereas most Apple launches are followed by an immediate roll out, it looks like iPhone OS 3.0 is still some way off.

For most people though, the iPhone OS 3.0 will bring a ton of new features. Apple’s likely to have sped up the phone, ironed out bugs and added even more bells and whistles. But what will they be?
