Nokia 5330 XpressMusic

Nokia has ripped the covers off its new 5300 XpressMusic and, well, just look at it! It’s one of the slickest looking music phones it’s ever produced. Don’t worry though, it’s not pure style over substance. There’s plenty of brains behind the 5330 XpressMusic’s beauty. Read on for all the details.

For a start the 5330 XpressMusic is completely Comes With Music compatible, so for a little extra cash you’ll get all the tracks you can download for a whole year. It’s also packed with 2GB of memory on microSD card, and can be upgraded to hold 16GB.

As you’d expect from a music phone, the 5330 XpressMusic has a proper headphone jack, and plays back all the usual music formats. There’s also stereo Blueooth inside, and an FM radio.

There’s all of Nokia’s newest social networking software inside the 5330 XpressMusic too, so it’ll hook up to Ovi, Nokia Messaging, Windows Live Messenger, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube.

The icing on the cake, however, is the extra features. There’s A-GPS inside the 5330 XpressMusic, as well as a decent 3.2 megapixel camera. Two features frequently absent from the Big N’s music phones.

The battery’s not bad either: keep the 5330 XpressMusic on standby and it’ll last over two weeks. Leave it playing music, and it’ll keep kicking for over 26 hours.

Due out by September, it’ll cost €160. We make that about £147.
