The Nokia 5030, an entry level music mobile from Nokia, has just been announced. Want to know what makes it stand out? We’ll give you a hint: it costs a credit-crunching £36. Read on for the full lowdown.
Nokia has just whipped the covers of the Nokia 5030, and it’s one of the best-looking budget phones out there. Unlike powerful 5000 series phones like the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, the Nokia 5030 only runs Symbian Series 30, but if all you want to do is make calls, send texts and picture messages and listen to the radio (there are one-touch radio and channel selection keys), it can’t be beat.
The Nokia 5030 also boasts a stonking battery life – up to 525 hours of standby time, or over 21 days. That almost putting the Nokia 5030 on a par with the Nokia E55 smartphone for stamina!
There are no details on the release date or pricing for the Nokia 5030 yet, but the Big N says it’ll go on sale in the “second quarter” of the year for €40. We make that £36 SIM-free, and out by June. Who says nothing good comes out of a recession!
Out June | £36 | Nokia
